Once you have contacted the Executor of a client’s Will, among other duties, they must then apply for Probate for the Estate. They may chose to do this independently, through a bank or with a Solicitor, where they will pay a percentage of the estate and/or for a time-based service.
Alternatively, you could direct them to a specialist Probate practitioner, like Kings Court, with in-house Solicitors and Tax experts, and a sensible, fixed fee from the outset, which is not payable until Probate is actually granted.
